    Can my child use the BabyO2 S2?

    BabyO2 S2 will fit your child up to three years old. For kids above three years old.

    Does BabyO2 S2 guarantee the safety of my baby?

    No, The BabyO2 S2 Oxygen Monitor is a consumer product that provides parents insights into their baby's heart rate and oxygen levels. The BabyO2 is not a FDA-approved medical device and is not intended to diagnose, cure, treat, alleviate or prevent any disease or health condition or investigate, replace or modify any physiological process. You are responsible for the health and wellbeing of your baby and following safe sleep, health, and care guidelines. 

    Is WiFi required?

    NO, the BabyO2 S2 connects with your phone via Bluetooth.

    Is it a medical device?

    The BabyO2 S2 is not a medical device. It is not intended for use as a medical device or to replace a medical device. It does not and is not intended to diagnose, cure, treat, alleviate or prevent any disease or health condition or investigate, replace or modify anatomy or any physiological process.

    Will the BabyO2 S2 have any negative long-term effects?

    The BabyO2 S2 uses pulse oximetry technology to detect oxygen levels and pulse rate. Pulse oximetry clinically proven and no long-term effects have been found. If used as advised, it should not cause any harm to your baby.

    What does the PI mean?

    Perfusion index (Pl) is an indication of the pulse strength at the sensor site. The PI varies depending on individuals, physiological conditions, skin temperature and sense sites. Pl is also a good indicator of the reliability of the pulse oximeter reading. Higher the Pl, better the performance. Green indicates an acceptable range and yellow/red indicates a poor pulse signal. Methods to get a higher Pl: (1)Improper wearing will cause poor Perfusion. Please make sure to wear the device according to the instructions. (2)Cold tissues will also cause poor Perfusion, especially in winter. Warm subject's tissues or move to a warm room in this case.

    Why do I need to allow Location access for Android?

    The android system asks for Location access to let the Bluetooth work. Please don't worry, we DO NOT collect your location data.
